This is called a Kayoi-Tokkuri and is used to pour sake. The commuting sake bottle became popular as a rental container for liquor stores in the Edo period when sake began to be consumed on a daily basis.
Dimensions:
10” high x 4 1/8” diameter on the bottom x 5” deep.
Condition: in excellent pre owned condition. No chips or cracks.
