Beautiful antique rice basket. Likely from the 1920s and made in the Philippines.
Woven in a very nice brown wicker. Excellent decorator piece. Would be stunning in an entryway, living room, or office. Add it to you book shelf or fireplace mantle.

Condition:
In very good condition. The base on the bottom does not quite allow the basket to sit upright. Thus it tilts a bit to one side. There is a small spot on the inner rim that shows a little unraveling. See the last photo. When the lid is on, you will not see that imperfection.
The item does have some dust on it, and I leave that to the new owner. Still, it’s a great piece and adds a fabulous texture to a room.
