Beautiful pair of Asian warrior vases. Sold as a pair. Each vase shows 3 main depictions on the broad side of each vase. Deep red, green, yellow, and grey artwork illustrates the warriors on horseback, waving flags while going into battle. The vases are handpainted and there are subtle differences in the artwork on each vase. Very well done. The crackle finish adds an old-world, antique vibe. The estimated vintage of these vases is the 1950s. The mark on the bottom is hand-carved. This pair would be great in a living room, on a mantel, in an entryway, or on a bookshelf.
Dimensions: 10″ high x 4″ deep x 2 1/8″ wide on the bottom.
Signed, however, I cannot make out the mark. Research leads me to believe they were made by Chenghua.
Condition: In excellent preowned condition. No chips or cracks.
